Clinical Trials Ensures Many Benefits To The Patients Of Type-I Diabetes

The recent clinical trials opened the new doors for the new drug for patients suffering from the type-I diabetes. The drug after continuous research of the medical experts was experimented over volunteer of the clinical trial by dividing them into two groups. The active group was given the drug for two years at the regular intervals of three months and the second group was given the placebo treatment. Both the groups were given insulin to support their glucose levels. 

The medication was formulated to test the ability of patient’s pancreas to secrete insulin The results after a year showed that patients treated with the drug for more than year showed higher pancreas function than placebo group. There were incident side effects between the two groups. Though the analyzed results are evaluated, the final report of the trial is yet to be evaluated.
